Merukur Symphony Orchestra to Perform in Harbin August 10-11

Austria's Merkur Symphony Orchestra will play in Harbin August 10-11 at the Children's Palace Art Center Theatre. The Merkur Symphony Orchestra, established in 1884, is renowned for its renditions of classic favorites and modern music, as well as their New Year's concerts held in Vienna.

Music from 12 of the world's most famous composers will be performed, including: Johann Baptist Strauss Sr.'s A Night in Venice Overture, Roses From The South, Emperor Waltz, The Blue Danube Waltz;Johann Baptist Strauss Jr.'s Annen-Polka, Radetzky March, Josef Straus's A Woman's Heart polka-mazurka, Feuerfest Polka française, Moulinet Polka, Franz Lehar's Treasure Waltz, (Viennese Women): Overture;Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, No.6 and more.

Getting there: Take bus 2, 6, 7, 8, 13, 16, 18, 21, 28, 33, 92, 101, 103, 108, 109, 115, k2 or 夜2 to the Museum (Bowuguan) station
