The Beijing Subway Company announced today that as of 08:00 on September 19, the Liangmaqiao Metro Station (亮马桥站) on the Line 10 will be closed down until further notice. The announcement is no doubt related to the recent events transpiring between China and Japan, as the Japanese embassy is located near the station. The move to close the station was likely done to help limit the size of the crowd gathering in the area.
