Lhasa’s Shatra Manor Scheduled to Open in August

The 200-year-old Shatra Manor, located on the South Barkor Street, is the only aristocrat manor preserved in Lhasa. The building is being renovated by the Tibet Autonomous Region Government since 2010 and is scheduled for completion in mid-August this year. Once open, the manor is expected to become another popular tourist attraction educating tourists about the long history of Tibet.
