The Lhasa Xuedun Festival of Tibet will be held from Aug 20th to 26th, 2009. Norbulingka Tibetan opera shows, traditional race track activities, Dangjiren horses races from Dangxiong Town of Lhasa, a series of programs for the Shanghai Expo in Tibet Week, the fourth Lhasa International Half Marathon, grand Buddhist ceremonyies, and many other exciting shows and activities will be happening during this period. Xuedun Festival, according to its name, is the festival to enjoy yogurt. Hence it’s other name – the Yogurt Festival.
Xuedun through tickets – allowing visitors to visit all of Xuedun’s site for one fixed price – will also be promoted.
