Sept 22nd is Mid-autumn Festival. It is usually the best time to watch the Qiantang River tide around this time of year. The biggest tide in Qiantang River will arise on Sept 25th, which is Aug. 18th in the Chinese lunar calendar. This is a good opportunity for the public to enjoy the view.

The tide on that day will become the biggest tide in eight years provided no factors like extra wind or precipitation occur.
