According to netizen accounts, people in Kunming are now being told they must register their names when buying facemasks in the city. Reportedly, the reason for the move is to “ensure Kunming’s social stability during the South Asia Expo,” which will be held there between June 6 and 10.

The local government has asked citizens to register their names when buying facemasks from places such as pharmacies and hospitals. Strangely, the local authorities are also demanding that any citizen who visits a local photocopying shop must provide their personal identification when using the shops’ services. Finally, the Kunming government has also placed a ban on the wearing of white t-shirts in the city until the end of June.

I know if i was there i would wear white T-shirts every day. Officials need someone to give them all a smack and then spit in their mouths when they start crying.
