Kunming Dianchi Lake National Tourist Resort won the title of Best International Tourist Resort in the 2009 Global Tourist Holiday Forum for its good tourist resources. In 2009, Dianchi Lake National Tourist Resort launched the construction of Dayu New District. The projects include an internationalized car racing field, a film base, an ocean world and a sightseeing port. The resort will become China’s best, world renowned tourist destination.
