Spanish theatre company Kulunka Teatro will be bringing their acclaimed theatre production “Andre and Dorine” to Xi’an Concert Hall on December 14 and 15. Three masked, expressionless actors tell the story of an elderly couple dealing with Alzheimer’s, without using any dialogue whatsoever. The play is set in a small room and draws heavily on music to convey the struggles associated with memory loss. Aided by its universal appeal, “Andre and Dorine” has travelled to over 30 countries worldwide to critical acclaim.
