China Southern Airlines will promote flights from 34 cities to Sydney or Melbourne with a stop in Guangzhou, saving an average of two hours compared with flights stopping in Beijing or Shanghai. The starting cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun, Changsha, Chengdu, Dalian, Urumqi, Wuhan, Xi’an, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Guiyang amd Guilin. Purchased 45 days in advance, round-trip tickets from Guangzhou to Sydney cost only 2170 RMB and 2410 RMB if bought 30 days in advanced. Currently there is one flight from Guangzhou to Sydney every day and three per week from Guangzhou to Melbourne.
