July Hike in Harbin Tourism: Over 28,000 Daily Visitors

Harbin has experienced a significant surge in tourism this month of July. The city experienced a similar July hike last year from southern visitors escaping the summer heat.This year, however, has seen a larger increase of tourists. According to the Harbin Civil Aviation Box Office, 28,000 passengers arrive in the Harbin Airport every day. This number represents a 21.3% increase from last year. Flights to Harbin are on average 90% full at this time of year with flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan, Nanjing, Changsha, Xiamen and Hangzhou almost always marked as 100% full.
