Jiangsu Raises Its Minimum Wage Higher Than Shanghai, Guangdong

The Human Resource and Social Services of Jiangsu province announced on December 4th that starting from February 1st, the minimum wage in the province will be increased from 960 RMB to 1140 RMB, only 20 RMB less than that of Beijing. The increased minimum wage level in Jiangsu Province will be higher than Shanghai and Guangdong, ranking the second among China’s provinces (or provincial cities).
