Orchid Show of Jiangsu Province began in Garden of Surging Wave Pavilion of Suzhou. It is the first time for Suzhou to hold a provincial Orchid Show. It exhibits thousands of pots of orchids in more than 200 varieties, and its scale is about 10 times as previous shows.
Books relative to orchids, ancient pots of orchid plants and other collections are exhibited in two halls of Suzhou Art Museum (1 Tianwei Xiang, Zhuhui Lu, Suzhou). The show will last till March 1st 2009.
