In the near future, metro passengers taking Jiangnanxi exits can shop at an underground shopping mall. Newly planned are 13 exits along the route connecting various streets and two bus stations. On March 22, the first underground shopping mall on south bank of the Pearl River in Guangzhou, called Jiangnan Sunday, began pilot operations attracting many citizens.
The Jiangnanxin community was rated as “A National Model Business Community” in January this year. The whole Jiangnanxi business circle will establish the “Jiannanxi Administration Committee” to coordinate the works of different the departments.
