Jewelry Museum of Lhasa Potala Palace to be Opened to the Public Soon

The Jewelry Museum of Lhasa Potala is going to be opened to the public soon. It is a three floor building with a total area of 2000 square meters, located in Snow city which is located at the foot of Potala Palace. The total investment into this museum has exceeded 10 million RMB. The exhibitions in the Jewelry Museum are divided into two parts: Memories of History and Treasures from the Royal Palace; and eight other sections featuring a total of about 200 suits, antiques and photos. The exhibition involves institutional antiques of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and rare Tibetan jewelry and antiques that were hidden for many years.
