Jackie Chan Shaves Jaycee’s Head to Symbolize New Beginning
Feb 25, 2015 By eChinacities.com

Photos depicting movie legend Jackie Chan shaving his son Jaycee’s head, were posted on the 33-year-old actor’s Weibo page over Spring Festival, symbolizing his apparent desire to start anew.

The photos are the first that Jaycee has posted on his microblog since his arrest in August last year on drug-related charges. The caption read “从心开始” meaning “to start from the heart” but it also implies a new beginning.

Many users left messages of support for the star in the comments section with one user commenting that “he’s still young, he still has time to do anything”, whereas others expressed solidarity with Jackie Chan, saying: “Poor parents! No matter what crimes you commit they will always forgive you. I hope you stop making Jackie lose face.”

So this is what the internet would look like should it have been available in the Middle Age? Shaving head in public, really? Quite amusing from the same aging star who declared condescendingly that Chinese weren't grown up enough for democracy a decade ago.

So if you're rich and popular, the only punishment you'll have is a shaved head?
