Beijing’s Crab Island Resort in Chaoyang District is planning to build an Italian mall that will feature furniture, clothes, kitchen goods, food, and a whole range of luxury goods.

The plans were announced on May 28 at the Beijing International Trade Fair after an agreement had been made between The Crab Island Group that runs the area and the Italy-China Economic Cooperation Association of Trade and Industry. The project is set to cost around 500,000 RMB and is expected to bring in annual trade of around 200,000 EUR. The area will take up a space of almost 10,000 square meters.
