Introducing “The 3 Kitchen Utensils” – Shanghai’s Tallest Buildings
Aug 07, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Oh the silliness of the web…

It seems netizens didn’t have enough human flesh search tasks this week so they started coming up with silly names for Shanghai’s three tallest buildings instead. Since the addition of the Shanghai Tower – currently the tallest skyscraper in China at 632 meters – Shanghai’s skyline has taken on a rather domestic image, one of kitchen utensils to be precise.

According to netizens – who clearly too much time on their hands by the way – the Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower look more like a whisk, a bottle opener and a cooking syringe when put together.

Don’t netizens have corrupt officials to expose or something?
