Internet Retailer Launches Sale of Wi-Fi Enabled iPhones

Internet Retailer Launches Sale of Wi-Fi Enabled iPhones
Aug 21, 2010 By eChinacities.com

The much anticipated WiFi enabled iPhones have gone sale at 360buy.com, a major B2C online retailer in China. They are already taking orders from consumers and are able to supply the phones to customers all over the country. While WiFi is a standard feature on iPhones in the rest of the world, WiFi enabled phones cannot be sold in China.

It’s been reported that when China Unicom first launched the sale of iPhones without WiFi in China, 360buy.com had already secured a deal to have the first rights at distributing the Wi-Fi iPhones once they become available. The new iPhones debuted online almost simultaneously with the traditional retail launch, proving B2C e-commerce is becoming more accepted by Chinese manufactures and consumers as a way of doing business. The Wi-Fi enabled iPhones are now selling for 4,999 RMB on 360buy.com.
