An announcement was made on August 27 stating the international bus route from Guilin to Halong in Vietnam will be resuming services. Covering a distance of 780 km, the trip usually takes around 12 hours. The bus departs from Cuizhu Road in Guilin, stops at Dongxing Port (China) and Mangjie Port (Vietnam) before arriving at Halong. The company operating the service is called Guilin Tourist Bus Transport LLB (桂林旅游汽车运输有限责任公司), and prices and departure times have yet to be officially announced. Halong Bay in Vietnam is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, which has earned it a place on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
