Many of the shopping centers in Guangzhou have been promising to complete construction and open for business before the opening of the Asian Games; and this news has attracted a number of international brands to come seek out opportunities in Guangzhou. For example, Hong Kong designer clothing brand IT has already signed up and is set to move into Tianhecheng and Taikuhui shopping centers. The shopping centers poised to open for business soon, including Wanlinghui, Taikuihui, Wanda Plaza, have attracted several multinational brands to come and settle in Guangzhou. H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Marks & Spencer, LV, Dior, and Max Mara are some of the newcomers to the area this year.
