The Ningbo Underwater Archaeology Base of the National Museum enjoyed its inauguration ceremony at the Qing’an Meeting Hall. It is the second underwater Archaeology Base of the National Museum in the country.


As one of the starting point of the Silk Road on the Sea, Ningbo has always been an important place for underwater Archaeology.
