Beijing’s Yanqing County kicked off its Ice and Snow Festival in Shijinglong Skiing Center last week. The festival features skiing, hot springs, traditional activities and an ice lantern show on the Great Wall. Ice sculptures and skiing competition will also be featured. The festival will last until the end of February.
Getting there: A bus departs from Swissotel in Dongsishitiao at 08:00 or from Madianqiao Yuanyijia entrance (原宜家) at 08:20 (return ticket 30 RMB)
