On February 27 police in Hefei picked up a woman who was lingering around their station, looking lost and bewildered. The brought her in for questioning but quickly realized they were going to struggle when she spoke in a strange dialect. They eventually discerned that she was Vietnamese and then proceeded in a mix of Chinese and English.

She told them the whole story of how she had met and married a man, named Ruan Li, in Xiuning, near Huangshan. After only six months of marriage the two decided that they actually they couldn’t stand each other and got a divorce. On the drive to Hefei Airport, where she was going to take a flight back to Vietnam they got into a huge fight leading to Ruan Li to drop her off on the side of the road without money, clothes, or a passport, and told her to walk the rest of the way.

After finally explaining her situation to the patient police officers they felt truly sorry for her and wanted to help. So they got money together and bought her a ticket back to… no not Vietnam, but to Xiuning and back to her husband. What? So she can relive all of that again?

When all else is lost, go back to the original point where it all began, the husband's house.
