Huawei to Hire Foreign Employees to Improve International Image

Until now, Huawei’s reach hasn’t extended too far outside of Chinese borders, but that’s all about to change according to founder Ren Zhengfei. In a push to expand its share in the European market, Huawei will invest more money on research and development and therefore hire more foreign employees.

The hiring of foreigners for the Chinese company will be accompanied by heavily incentivized contracts in order to hold on to as well as maximize foreign talent. Zhengfei hopes to expel the myth labeling the technology company as “mysterious”. He wants to show the world that Huawei is a company “with integrity and a good face”, although he believes that it will still be quite some time before the US accepts it as such after recent scandals involving Huawei’s connections to the Chinese government.
