According to an announcement at this year’s China-Shanghai International Meetings and Conference Forum, the Shanghai Hongqiao Convention and Exhibition Centre and Shanghai Disneyland will be completed by 2015. The Hongqiao Convention and Exhibition Centre will occupy an indoor exhibition space of 400,000 sqm, about three the size of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Shanghai Disney World will be composed of five themed zones and there are also plans to build two Disneyland hotels.
