A video of a bicycle riding Beijing student in a stand off with three angry ladies wanting to park in the bike lane went viral yesterday on the Chinese internet. The 2 minute video shows the teenage boy, wearing a pollution mask, blocking the bike lane on a highway with his bike. The four women wanting to park their car there yell at him while he stands his ground.

The student said that he had been riding on the bike path and the women in the car had tried to block his path. Then they yelled at him when he wouldn't move. Wang Fang (pseudonym) who filmed the viral video told the Beijing Youth Daily that the women had caused a scene because they were being completely unreasonable. According to eyewitnesses, one of the women reached out and tugged on the boy's school uniform. Another said, “You kids are learning bad things in school nowadays..what authority do you think you have over us?  Real mature, ladies.

In the end, a man who seemed to be a security guard or policeman arrived on the scene and stood between the student and the women. The women then turned and drove away. Guess they didn't need to park that badly after all.
