Heavy Snow Delays Trains in Hohhot

From Jan. 3rd to 4th, the railway line from Jining to Liaotong saw 82 snow hazards with snows as thick as 30cm, according to the Hohhot Railway Bureau. A total of 13 passenger trains were delayed by the snow. Among them, the K502 train which runs from Hohhot to Liaotong was forced to stop 3km away from Benhong Station and four of its 15 carriages were buried in snow. The train was eventually freed from snow and ran to Liaotong at 17:00 on Jan. 4th.
