Locals in Taiyuan shivering from the cold began feeling a bit warmer at home when the heating in their apartments began on October 28th. Local authorities in charge of the city’s heating system said that providing heat in the winter to the entire city is a gradual process and usually takes three to five days before working at full capacity.
