The Hulan River Mouth Wetland Park opened in Harbin on June 10, in conjunction with the Fascinating Summer of Harbin and the 2nd Wetland Festival tourism events. The park, with 360 transplanted trees, over 3000 different kinds of saplings, 3600 square metres of bush and 1.2 million willows, occupies an area of 38.5 square kilometres. Containing five restaurants, one performance square and four docks, it has become another of Harbin’s notable scenic spots, along with the Sun Island and the Ice and Snow World.

Getting there: Visitors can go by taxi or take buses 551 and 552 to Hulan District and take a shuttle bus from there.
