Harbin Imposes Strict Bans on Dogs

Beginning November 1st, 49 breeds of big dogs (including Tibetan Mastiff, Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentina, Fila Brasileiro, Central Asian Shepherd Dog, Borzoi, German Shepherds) will be banned in Harbin. Residents who own big dogs will have to ‘deal’ with their pets themselves by October 31st, their solutions ranging from sending their animals to suburbs or kennels. It will also be illegal to walk one’s dog in the city parks, irrespective of size.
