Harbin Airport Offering Childcare for Unaccompanied Children
Sep 14, 2012 By eChinacities.com

A large number of unaccompanied minors have been going through Harbin Taiping International Airport recently, especially now that the summer holidays have come to an end. Thankfully, parents can now apply for special childcare services at the airport to ensure their child arrives at their destination safely. Parents must apply for this service in advance and provide detailed contact information (including place of departure, the name of the person collecting them at their destination, a valid ID number, telephone number, name of parents or guardians, address etc.).

Harbin Airport has set up a special service desk for unaccompanied minors as well as a green entry/exit channel. The service includes one-on-one escorts who assist the minors from the moment they arrive at the check-in, through the security check and all the way up until they are met at their destination.
