As the first city to open water bus lines in China, Hangzhou has launched eight lines of this kind since 2005. According to reports, Hangzhou Water Bus Company has planned to link the first and last stops of the eight water bus lines with other public transport means so locals and visitors can transfer easily to metro lines or buses.
