According to Hangzhou Public Bicycle Company, there are 2,431 public bike rental points and 60,600 bikes available in Hangzhou. During the first eight months of this year, locals and visitors rented bikes 52 million times, at an average of 220,000 bikes rented per day. Hangzhou has succeeded in creating a bicycle-friendly city that also promotes a healthier, more active lifestyle for its residents.
