Starting March 17th, Hainan Airlines has begun a new international flight route from Hangzhou to Bangkok, putting an end to the previous journey of passengers having to go the roundabout way of passing through Shanghai or Guangzhou and connecting to Bangkok en route Hong Kong. The plane flying the trip will be a 737-800 model and there are two flights every week; every Wednesday and Sunday 22:30 local departure time from Hangzhou and arriving 01:50 locally the next day in Bangkok; the schedule for the round trip is 02:50 local departure time from Bangkok and arriving 07:50 local time in Hangzhou.
