Hainan Airlines will open a new, direct flight between Beijing and Chicago on September 3. The flight will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Sundays respectively. Flight HU497 departs from Beijing Capital Airport at 13:35 and arrives in Chicago at 13:25. The return flight, HU498, departs from Chicago at 15:25 and arrives back in Beijing at 19:05 the next day.
