After the International Children's Day on June 1, the first comprehensive activity center for women and children in Haidian District opens to the public. This activity center incorporates all-round development and knowledge education for women and children into one entity.
In addition to providing services such as early education for babies and infants, outside school education for children and practical skills training for women, the center will also provide training to enhance women’s skills and develop children's potential by organizing various kinds of contests, competitions and cultural exchange activities.
Reporters learned that Haidian activity center for women and children, located in the former building of Haidian Personnel Bureau on Suzhou Street, has a total floor area of about 6,000 square meters. After opening, the center will undertake multiple tasks oriented towards women and children, like organizing training, cultural and entertainment activities as well as exchanges for women and children.
