Qugangao.com, a new Hong Kong and Macao travel service website, nicknamed "HK MC GO!", was launched on Tuesday in Beijing to better serve Beijing citizens who want to travel Hong Kong and Macao.

China News Service reported that the website is supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Macao Government Tourist Office.

By logging on the website, Beijing residents can obtain detailed information on tour packages, cheaper flights and hotels, and shopping and entertainment guides, which, to the delight of many, are even cheaper than other discount access.

Hong Kong media reported earlier that influenced by the downturn of global economy, the number of tourists to Hong Kong is expected to drop substantially this year.
