Guangzhou's Subway Network to Reach 220km in 2010

Guangzhou’s subway network is estimated to extend to 222km before the Asian Games in November 2010. Vigorous expansion projects are currently underway in Guangzhou’s subway system, with eight more subway lines expected to open ahead of the Asian Games. This massive undertaking will almost double the current length of Guangzhou’s metro tracks.
