Guangzhou's New Railway Station to Span the Pearl River Delta Region Before 16th Asian Games

Guangzhou's New Railway Station will be officially launched before the Asian Games next year. The comprehensive modern transportation hub will strengthen connections among the cities of the Pearl River Delta region. The New Railway Station will connect the cities in the region through Guangzhou-Zhuhai, Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Inter-city Rail Transit and a Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Passenger dedicated line. The road lines of the Bus Terminal of the New Railway Station cover nine cities in the Pearl River Delta region. Foshan City will also open public bus lines to the new station.
The parking lot of the New Railway Station is planned to have 2,112 car parking sets and 90 taxi pick-up stations.  At the same time, Metro Lines 2, 7 and 12 will run through to the New Railway Station.
