The Guangzhou–Zhuhai Intercity Mass Rapid Transit (Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT) is opening to traffic at the end of December as planned. When this rail opens, travel time between Guangzhou and Zhuhai will be reduced from 1.5 hours to 45 minutes.
The Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT constructed in 2005 is a passenger railway linking New Guangzhou Station and Zhuhai Airport, via Shunde, Zhongshan and Jiangmen, in Guangdong.
The operation hours of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT will be from 06:00 – 24:00 and the ticket price for the non-stop train will be 70 RMB.
