Liu Ruopeng, Dean of the Shenzhen KPS Higher Polytechnic Institute, has claimed that this year, Guangzhou’s subway will feature super-fast free Wi-Fi that is reportedly 20 times faster than 4G.
The Wi-Fi speed means that users who wish to watch high-definition videos don’t have to wait for the films to buffer. Test runs using the technology have already been undertaken and reports claim that the new service will be made available as soon as possible.
