The Guangzhou New TV tower officially opens on September 29th and will start to welcome visitors on October 1st. This 600-meter TV tower situated on the axis line of Guangzhou, mainly serves as a sightseeing spot, as well as radio and TV transmission. After opening, the building will become an important landmark building in Guangzhou.
Panoramic scenery of Guangzhou will be visible from the top of the TV tower. Three successful trial openings were held on Sept. 21st, 25th and 26th before the officially opening.
Ticket prices for the TV tower will be stipulated by the government but fares for the trial runs are as follows: 150 RMB per person up to the 84th floor (433.2 meters), 100RMB up to the 66th floor (399.6 meters) and 50 RMB up to the 32nd (162.8 meters).
