To facilitate travel during the Asian Games, on November 1st, Guangzhou’s public transport become completely free (Read more for details). The Guangzhou Metro’s data shows that the implementation of the first day of free public transport, metro traffic soared to 7.8 million, nearly double the more than 4 million of the average daily flow.
