Last Friday (Apr. 3rd), Director of Guangzhou Sports Bureau Mr. Liu Jiangnan signed a sports resources sharing agreement with Foshan city. The two cities Guangzhou and Foshan will launch the Sports IC Card, which will be convenient for inhabitants wishing to play in venues in both cities.
Guangzhou has many sports venues like Olympic Sports Center, Tianhe Sports Center, Guangzhou Gymnasium, and Guangzhou University Town Gymnasium and so on. These venues however are more fully occupied and cannot easily be booked at weekends, while sports venues in Foshan are less crowded.
