A man in Zhejiang has decided to eschew the Chinese tradition of transporting his new wife in a fleet of luxury cars, and has decided instead to wow his various friends and relatives by taking her home in a procession of four crane trucks.
The trucks, which are each worth 900,000 RMB, are no less luxurious than a fleet of luxury cars according to the groom, Xie Jiangjian. The trucks were covered with the double “喜喜” character and banners wishing the couple luck.
The bride was overjoyed and was photographed giving her new husband a huge hug when she saw the convoy.
