Guangzhou International Commodity Exhibition and Trade City, the largest global commodity exhibition and trade center, with an investment of 14 billion, began construction. Located in Panyu District, the project has an area of 5.76 million sq.m. After construction, it will bring a trade volume of RMB 150 billion each year. Its first phase of operation will commence in 2010.
