On July 28th, the Fuzhou municipal government and the Fujian Bureau of Cultural Relics held a joint meeting to approve the “Fuzhou Zhuzifang Cultural Heritage Protection Project”. According to the project plan, Zhuzifang Street will apply for the 2012 National History and Culture Street. Zhuzifang Street, previously named Sanqiao, is located at the foot of the Yu Mountain, next to Antai River. Historically, it was an educational area that was home to old educational institutions such as Confucian temples and county academies
