French President Hollande Mocked by Netizens for Trouser Malfunction

You never get a second chance to make a first impression – something French President François Hollande seemed to forget when he got off the plane during his recent two-day state visit to China with his fly undone in full view. Photographers were quick to capture the shot, with the photo quickly being spread around online and subsequently mocked to pieces by China’s ever-vocal netizens.

Some joked that Hollande’s trouser malfunction was the result of some in-flight frolicking, with one netizen jesting, “It must have been a comfortable plane,” and another saying “China welcomes the open-minded French President.”
