French Gypsy Rock Duo Vialka Perform in Chongqing April 21st
Apr 18, 2012 By eChinacities.com

Vialka is a dynamic French-Canadian husband and wife duo who play an experimental style of gypsy folk music, inspired by their nomadic way of life (the band has been on what seems like a permanent world tour since their formation in 2002). Their music incorporates everything from punk influences to Chinese folk songs to random howling and buzzing synthesizers. You’re not going to see another band like this in a hurry in Chongqing, so go along for what promises to be an interesting night of music and sounds.

Getting there: take bus no.133, 181, 211, 227, 504, 801, 821, 863, 882 to Chongda Zhongmen (重大中门)
