Aug 16, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Free Wifi access is already available on 248 bus routes and 5282 individual buses which operate within the third ring road in Beijing. Many of the routes service popular areas in Beijing such as Chang’an Avenue and Zhongguancun. Efforts are currently underway to extend Wifi to more buses in the city, so look out for a sign that reads “本车已覆盖WiFi” next time you hop on a bus in the capital.

To access the Wifi, simply select the CMCC network and follow the prompts.
